Salary Adjustment for the Position of Director of Wastewater Collections and Plant Operations

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PACIFICA

ADJUSTING THE COMPENSATION RANGE FOR DIRECTOR OF WASTEWATER COLLECTIONS AND PLANT OPERATIONS

              WHEREAS, the job description for Director of Wastewater Collections and Plant Operations was established in 2008 and since that time the Wastewater Collections and Plant Operation has restructured with additional responsibilities for the Director, and

              WHEREAS, staff has recently completed the necessary review for the salary range that is appropriate for the position both in terms of scope of responsibilities, qualifications and comparison to other department directors in the City:

New Range                             $12,920 - $14,767 per month

              Prior Range                            $11,200 –$12,880 per month

NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Pacifica that the salary range listed above is hereby authorized.

              PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pacifica, California, held on November 13, 2012.
